Here’s a preview of some of my work in screenwriting. I’ve included some of my poetry at the bottom of this portfolio as well, since it was the first artistic medium I explored as a writer.
Screenplays
A Quarter of an Hour (2022)
A Quarter of an Hour follows a couple in purgatory deciding their fate; to remain dead or return back to Earth.
Greater Purpose (2023)
Inspired by infamous cults and their sadistic leaders, the work is titled Greater Purpose. A young boy named Drew has grown tired and frustrated of his catholic family demanding he parent his multiple younger siblings. Facing a religious existential crisis, he finds solace in Josephine, an older woman that leads a group called Greater Purpose. she believes humans are actually super powered and helps people “access” their power, though under her helpful facade lies a deeper, darker truth. Upon the return of a young girl missing for years and presumed to be dead, she accuses Josephine of attempting to kidnap and kill her. Drew is recruited to be on the jury deciding Josephine’s fate, though as the case is unfolded in court, he begins to question if Josephine is being set up as she claims or if she truly is the evil mastermind behind everything.
Mirror (2023)
This is a short film that follows Mallory, a sheltered yet curious little girl who lives with her overbearing mother, Lisa. She seems like every typical helicopter parent, but little does Mallory know, there is a much more sinister reason her mother doesn’t want her going outside.
Overtime (2024)
My first full-length screenplay, Overtime follows Casey Kimmit, a rockstar who is utterly heartbroken over Stella, a nurse in New York City. In the midst of his heartbreak and seeking to re-write his upcoming album, he uses Stella’s poetry and accidentally writes a number one hit. Known for his refusal to collaborate with any other songwriters, Casey’s label demands he hire Stella to assist him in finishing the album in time for its original release, and they promise to pay her enough so that she can finally attend med school. The only catch is having to work very closely – and intimately – with their ex. How bad could it be?
Poetry
Heart For Brains (2023)
From heartbreak to homesick, Heart for Brains details the painful but beautiful journey of leaving adolescence for adulthood.

Heart for Brains is the first work to date where I added visuals. The design of the drawings is simple; I wanted them to look almost cartoonish to match with the character of the book, Heart. This was my first solo project and it allowed me to understand the time and effort that needs to go into every single detail. Click the button above to purchase!
“Momentum” b222 Literary Journal (2023)
You can find my poem, “Momentum”, on page 24! I also had the honour of presenting this poem at the 2022 Tedxqueensu conference! Here’s my blurb (just for fun).
